Final Fantasy XIV Gets a Monster Hunter Crossover

During its E3 showcase, Square Enix revealed a crossover event between MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV and Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World. More details are set to be revealed during a live “Letter from the Producer”, but it will involve players hunting down the “King of the Skies,” Rathalos. A teaser page for the event suggests that players will need to have finished the main story of the latest expansion Stormblood to participate (but not any of the content added in following patches).

    I’m so giddy here. Hunting a Rathalos in FF14 is a dream, I’m just wondering if it’s a 4/8 man trial instance.
