Monster Hunter: World Sieges the Kulve Taroth

Capcom has announced the newest update for Monster Hunter: World. The imminent update will feature a new monster, the Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth, and a new game type, Siege. Due to its massive size, The Siege of Kulve Taroth will require four groups of four to split up and hunt down the creature, but all tracking and damage done to it will carry over to the other groups as well. The mode is balanced around having a full party of sixteen. Additionally, the Kulve Taroth’s mantle contains weapon relics collected during its journey to the New World, though which kinds of weapons and their quality are randomly determined.

The Siege of Kulve Taroth will become available at 5 a.m. PT on April 18, 2018, coinciding with the game’s second content update. The Siege will be a limited time event. Monster Hunter: World is currently available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a PC version set to arrive later this year.
