Gust Details Nelke and The Legendary Alchemists’ Daily Activities
Gust has provided new information and screenshots focused on the daily planning elements of Atelier spin-off Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World. The game’s calendar is split into weekdays and holidays, with request work and town-building taking place on weekdays, while holidays are when players can visit others and deepen relationships. Requests that players can make include crafting items, going to shops, and sending alchemists out exploring, while holiday activities can include things like fishing.
Players can also conduct research using the alchemists, which provides new synthesis recipes. Researching new recipes involves working through a tree, and once players reach a certain point on the tree, they can get alchemists to work together to create special items. Alchemists will also get together in various events throughout the game, with events potentially featuring characters from within the same sub-series or across the franchise as a whole.
Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists is set to be released in Japan on December 13, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation Vita. Koei Tecmo will be releasing the game in North Ameria and Europe for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch this winter.
