Dark Souls Remastered Network Tests Dated

[Update — Bandai Namco confirmed that the European network test will run at a separate time to North America, this story has been updated to reflect the different times.]

Bandai Namco has announced the network test dates for Dark Souls Remastered. The test will occur on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 11, 2018, and May 12, 2018, though at different times based on the region (listed below). To be eligible, players must download the client from either the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Games Store by the end of May 8, 2018.

Network test timings (apply for both May 11 and May 12):

  • Japan — 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. JST
  • Europe — 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. BST
  • North America —  6:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. PDT

Dark Souls Remastered is an updated release of the 2011 game for modern consoles and PC. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game will benefit from an improved frame rate, improved resolutions, and an increase in concurrent players in multiplayer. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will see improved resolutions and the increase in player count. The game arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25, 2018. The Nintendo Switch version will arrive sometime in summer 2018.
