Another year has come and gone, and it won’t be long until the RPG release flood begins anew. The RPGamer staff has picked out some of the titles they are most excited for in 2022 and beyond.
Square Enix has released the benchmark for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, as well as a new trailer. In addition, producer Naoki Yoshida provided a brief update on Final Fantasy XVI’s development.

Square Enix has launched the official website for Final Fantasy XVI. The website includes the first details on the game’s setting of Valisthea and three of its main characters.
During the PlayStation 5 showcase, Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XVI. The game’s development staff features Final Fantasy XIV’s Naoki Yoshida as producer, with Final Fantasy XIV and The Last Remnant’s Hiroshi Takai as director.
