Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

The Valkyria Chronicles series has stood out among tactical RPGs thanks to its unique combat system and WWII era-inspired setting. RPGamer takes a look back at its four mainline entries, plus one slightly curious spin-off.
Amazon Games tries to balance between action RPG and MMO with the relaunched New World: Aeternum. Ryan Costa sees whether the update for consoles reinvigorates interest and is likely to gives it a freshly replenished player base.

NIS America wasted no time following the western release of the previous title in announcing Trails through Daybreak II. Sarah Ferries was able to check out a few of the new additions in the game ahead of its release in early 2025.
Major News
Binary Haze Interactive revealed a full release date for AdGlobe and Live Wire’s Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist. The 2D action RPG will launch for PC and consoles in January.
Critical Games announced a console release date for 8-Bit Adventures 2. The retro-styled turn-based RPG will arrive on its new platforms in October.
Gamera Interactive revealed a full PC release date for Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms. The isometric action RPG has been in Early Access just over two years.
Humble Games and Dead Mage revealed that Wizard of Legend 2 will launch on Steam Early Access next month. The roguelite dungeon-crawler is expected to spend at least six months in Early Access.
After many months of silence, Impact Gameworks announced that Flowstone Saga will be available next week for PC, Mac, and Linux. Inspired by 16-bit JRPGs, the title features a puzzle-based combat system and town-building elements.
Aiming announced that it is shutting down the PS4 version of MMORPG Caravan Stories. The PS4 version, which launched in 2019, will end service in March.
Just ahead of the weekend, NIS America released a demo for action RPG Reynatis. Available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Switch, the demo lets players go through the game’s opening chapters.
Developer Jordan Weisman announced a new game, Sea of Legends. The game is based on the tabletop game of the same name and is being built on the Adventure Forge platform, with a Kickstarter campaign beginning soon.
