Tamarak Trail Developer Diaries

Versus Evil has released two Developer Diary videos for Yarrow Games’ upcoming dice-based deck-builder Tamarak Trail. The game is planned to release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year.

The first video showcases Tamarak Trail’s locations. Yarrow Games set out to capture the feel of northeastern Ontario, Canada and the various unique types of trees, moss, and rocks native to that heavily forested region. The second video focuses on enemy design, in particular the unique rendering and animation techniques used for the “Sluggard”. Both Developer Diary videos can be viewed below.
