The Elder Scrolls Online Lays Out 2023 Plans

ZeniMax Online Studios has released a lengthy look at the upcoming year of content for its MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. This year’s adventure is called Shadow Over Morrowind and its first two additions are Scribes of Fate and the Necron Chapter. Scribes of Fate will introduce two new four-player dungeons that take players to the Scrivener’s Hall and the mystical town of Bal Sunnar. The DLC will launch on PC and Mac on March 13, 2023, and on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on March 28, 2023.

The second, more substantial DLC is the Necrom story chapter, which will add an additional 30 hours of story across two new zones: the Telvanni Peninsula in Eastern Morrowind and the Oblivion realm of Apocrypha. It will introduce two new companions and also add a new class, the Arcanist. The Arcanist is the game’s seventh class and draws its power from a Daedric Prince in the realm of Oblivion. This chapter will be available on PC and Mac on June 5, 2023, and on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One on June 20, 2023. For more information on the upcoming plans for the game, the full thirty minute reveal is available below.
