System Shock Remake Receives Gameplay Trailer

Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios released a new trailer for the upcoming System Shock remake. The two-minute video, shown during the PC Gaming Show, features Terri Brosius returning to voice the AI SHODAN as well as its first-person exploration and shooter gameplay.

Originally released in 1994, System Shock is a sci-fi RPG set on an space station that has been taken over by the rogue A.I. SHODAN who seeks to destroy the human race. The remake is a ground-up rebuild of the game, featuring HD visuals, updated controls and UI, and remastered sound and music. It is in development for PC, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, though a release date has not been announced.
