Yaga Hits New PC Stores, Update Released

Versus Evil and Breadcrumbs Interactive’s Yaga is now available on Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store for $24.99, with a 40% launch discount. The game was previously released for PC via the Epic Games Store and is also available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and iOS via the Apple Arcade.

In addition, the game received its version 1.2 “Spirits for Spirits” update. The update includes a new village quest, a new favourites menu option, a new merchant sell back option, keyboard and mouse control remapping, the removal of bad luck boosting through curses and blessings, bug fixes, and performance improvements.

Yaga is inspired by Slavic folklore and follows Ivan, a one-handed blacksmith cursed with bad luck. He is watched over by the witch Baba Yaga while he takes on numerous impossible tasks from the tzar. The game aims to encourage replayability with multiple endings, different possible ways of completing encounters, and various decisions and upgrade paths for Ivan that affect his story, reputation, and how he fights.
