Nihon Falcom has released new screneshots and details for the newest entry of the Legend of Heroes series, The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki. The new update focuses on characters from the Trails of Cold Steel sub-series that are returning for the game, primarily showing Alisa Reinford, Laura S. Arseid, Elliot Craig, Jusis Albarea, Machias Regnitz, Elise Schwarzer, and Alfin Reise Arnor, with others also appearing.

The developer also revealed a few more details about some of the extra story episodes unlockable in the game’s True Reverie Corridor dungeon. One of the mini-games is the return of the “Who Wants to Be a Mirannaire?” quiz from Trails in the Sky the 3rd, which is now hosted by fortune-teller and former Thors student Beryl, while two story episodes see Juna and Musse go undercover at St. Astraia Girls’ School and weapons merchant Jingo visited by an unusual selection of characters after her dog Cerberus brings back a shiny object.

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki takes place shortly after the events of Trails of Cold Steel IV and will feature three main protagonists based in different parts of the continent of Zemuria. Hajimari no Kiseki is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on August 27, 2020, while Trails of Cold Steel IV is set to be released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 on October 27, 2020, and for PC and Nintendo Switch in spring 2021.
