Nihon Falcom released its first full-length trailer for the newest title in the Legend of Heroes series, The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki. The new three-minute video shows off the game’s three main protagonists and their allies, with quick glimpses at combat and the Cross Story System. These items are used to unlock special story episodes for a wide assortment of characters across the series.

Meanwhile, the Magical Girl Alisa RS spin-off mini-game with its own story, casting Alisa as a magical girl and Rean as a Demon Prince with other characters from the Trails of Cold Steel sub-series also appearing. Gameplay is that of a 3D shooter with players attempting to destroy the invading demon army.

The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki takes place shortly after the events of Trails of Cold Steel IV and will feature three main protagonists based in different parts of the continent of Zemuria. Hajimari no Kiseki is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on August 27, 2020, while Trails of Cold Steel IV is set to be released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 on October 27, 2020, and for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
