Curse of the Dead Gods Available on Steam Early Access, Console Versions Announced
Focus Home Interactive and Passtech Games’ Curse of the Dead Gods is now on Steam Early Access. The initial Early Access version of the action roguelite, available for $14.99/£12.99/€14.99, contains around a third of the planned content with one of the three main sections available to play through. In addition to the Early Access launch, the companies also revealed that the game will be launching for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside the full release of the game, which is currently planned for late 2020.
In Curse of the Dead Gods, players are tasked with advancing through a cursed temple in search of riches, immortality, and divine powers. Death is not the end, as players rise again and attempt to dive deeper, earning Relics that help them deal with the multitude of traps and foes in the temple’s labyrinth. The game also includes a corruption mechanic.
