Final Fantasy VII Remake Opening Movie Revealed

Square Enix has revealed the opening cinematic movie for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake. The five-minute-long intro features an overhead perspective of Midgar, as it highlights some memorable points of interest, before showing the iconic scene with Aerith in the alleyway, and ending with the rebels assaulting one of the reactors with their newest member, Cloud Strife.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a full remaster of the original game that debuted in 1997 for the PlayStation. The remake will be released in parts, with the first part scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
