Second Phase of Beta Testing Coming to Genshin Impact

The open-world action RPG Genshin Impact is opening its doors for RPGamers to register for the second wave of beta testing. Developer miHoYo announced that the closed beta will be available Q1 of 2020 for PC, iOS, and Android. At the moment, Genshin Impact has no release date set, but is also in development for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Genshin Impact is set in the world of Teyvat, a land that is freely-explorable for adventurers. Players will take up the mantle of “The Traveler”, a mysterious figure who is trying to find their long-lost sister while unravelling their own secrets. The current closed beta introduces Liyue Harbour, the City of Rock, a wealthy locale which has a Far East-inspired appearance. The local legend speaks of the God of Geo driving out an ancient sea monster, and teaching the first settlers how to smelt metals and ores, which eventually helped cultivate the once barren land where Liyue Harbour now sits. The trailer below also announces a new area in Genshin Impact, the Land Amidst Monoliths.
