Zinogre Returns in Monster Hunter: World’s Iceborne Expansion

Capcom has released a new trailer for Monster Hunter: Worlds upcoming Iceborne expansion. The new trailer showcases the new and returning monsters so far announced for the expansion, including the newly-revealed return of thunder wolf wyvern Zinogre and the new Elder Dragon Namielle. The company also revealed that the beast Rajang will be added as a free update in October 2019.

Zinogre made its debut in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in Japan, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in North America and Europe, and uses its lightning powers to supercharge itself. Meanwhile, Namielle uses water-based attacks and is able to summon water at will to send high-pressure bursts at hunters. Rajang was originally introduced in Monster Hunter 2 and has lightning attacks and the ability to enter a rage mode.

Iceborne takes players to the frozen region of Hoarfrost Reach. In addition to the new area, Iceborne will include higher-difficulty Master Rank quests, new foes, and new abilities and tactical options. The expansion will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019, with a PC release to follow sometime in the winter.
