Monster Hunter: World Iceborne Gets More Videos

Capcom has released four new English videos for the upcoming Iceborne expansion to action RPG Monster Hunter: World. The first three videos look at the numerous weapon types, which are split into three groups. The first looks at the light weapons Sword and Shield, Dual Blades, Long Sword, and Light Bowgun. The second examines the heavy weapons Great Sword, Hammer, Lance, Gunlance, and Heavy Bowgun. The third and final group features the technical weapons Switch Axe, Charge Blade, Insect Glaive, Hunting Horn, and Bow.

The company also released a new story trailer for the expansion. This four-minute video helps introduce the premise of Iceborne where players join the Research Commission to explore the newly-discovered Hoarfrost Reach. Players will help establish a new base camp in the snowy area called Seliana, which can be seen in the video.

In addition to the new area, Iceborne will include higher-difficulty Master Rank quests, new foes, and new abilities and tactical options. The expansion will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2019, with a PC release to follow sometime in the winter.
