Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Now Available

The remastered version of Final Fantasy VIII is now available worldwide. The remastered version, co-developed by Access Games and DotEmu, can be purchased digitally on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $19.99.

Final Fantasy VIII was originally released for PlayStation in 1999, with a PC version released in 2000. The game follows Squall, a member of a mercenary force named SeeD, who ends up joining forces with Rinoa Heartilly and the resistance in the military nation of Galbadia. The remastered version includes enhanced graphics, battle assist options, a 3x speed boost, and the ability to turn off random encounters.
