Code Vein Developers Talk About Character Designs

Bandai Namco has released another behind-the-scenes video for its upcoming action RPG Code Vein. The latest eight-minute video features Producer Keita Iizuka, Director Hiroshi Yoshimura, Character Designer Kurumi Kobayashi, and Art Director Koichi Itakura, who talk about the process and ideas behind the game’s characters and how those designs work with those of the game’s post-apocalyptic world. In addition, Bandai Namco recently released two other short videos for the game. The first shows the Great Hammer weapon, while the second introduces the Invading Executioner boss.

Code Vein is set in a world where a phenomenon called the Thorns of Judgment has laid waste to human civilisation. As a result of this phenomenon, surviving humans have gained supernatural abilities at the cost of severe bloodlust that can turn them into members of the mindless cannibalistic force wandering the world known as the Lost. The game will be released on September 27, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
