Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Gets a Deep Dive

Funcom has released a new, extended look at The Bearded Lady’s upcoming Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. Guided by producer Mike Parker, the fourteen-minute walkthrough covers an entire side mission of the game in previously unseen area The Scraplands. The company also announced that Mutant Year Zero will launch on Xbox Game Pass on the same day as its general release. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 4, 2018.

Based on the pen-and-paper RPG Mutant, Road to Eden puts players in control of Dux, Bormin, and Selma as they travel across a post-human Earth. Combat plays out similarly to XCOM, with turn-based, tactical battles where players must be mindful of positioning, the environment, and a repertoire of abilities.
