Super Neptunia RPG English Opening Released, Set for Spring

Idea Factory International has released the opening movie for its upcoming title Super Neptunia RPG. In addition, the company revealed that the game has been pushed back from its planned release late this year to spring 2019. Super Neptunia RPG will be released physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and will come with Japanese and English voice acting and English and French subtitles.

Partly developed by Quebec-based developer Artisan Studios, Super Neptunia RPG is a 2D side-scrolling RPG that takes place in an alternate universe where 2D games still reign supreme. The 2D version of Gamindustri is ruled by an organisation named Bombyx Mori, which collects 2D games as taxes and bans new technologies or games that don’t meet its standards.
