Perfect World Announces Torchlight Frontiers

Publisher Perfect World has announced Torchlight Frontiers, a new title in the action RPG series created by now-defunct developer Runic Games. Torchlight Frontiers is being developed by new studio Echtra Games, which is led by Runic Games co-founder Max Schaefer, and promises a “shared-world” experience though exact details have not been revealed.

The first Torchlight game was originally released in 2009, with a sequel, Torchlight II, released in 2012. Torchlight Frontiers is planned for release in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
