Disgaea 5 Complete PC Release Delayed to Summer
Shortly after it released a demo for the PC version of Disgaea 5 Complete and a week before the game’s planned release, NIS America has announced that the PC version has been delayed to summer 2018. NIS America provided the following statement regarding the delay:
As beta testing has been ongoing, we have been fixing bugs and issues as they were discovered. While working on corrections last night, we came across a new issue that requires additional attention that will take more time to resolve. Unfortunately, until this issue can be resolved, the release date will be postponed, and we are now targeting a release for Summer 2018. We offer our sincerest apologies to all who have been looking forward to this release of the game.
NIS America has disabled all of the demo keys that were previously distributed; once NIS America determines it is ready, a new demo will be released but will require new keys to access. Those who have pre-purchased the game on Steam will be able to re-install the game once the issues have been resolved, but those who wish can claim a refund by following the instructions here.
Disgaea 5 Complete contains all the content from Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, which was released for PlayStation 4 in 2015, as well as all of the subsequent DLC that added eight bonuses scenarios, four characters, and three classes. Disgaea 5 Complete was previously released for Nintendo Switch in 2017.
Between the Ys VIII issues and now this, I wonder what it is with NISA and PC.
