Farland Saga I & II Saturn Tribute Launching in Japan in June

Developer City Connection announced that it is releasing Farland Saga I & II Saturn Tribute, a collection of two tactical RPGs released for PC and Sega Saturn in Japan in the late 1990s. The games will launch in Japan on June 26, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. They will be available digitally on all platforms as well as physically on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. A western release has not been announced at this time.

Farland Saga I follows Karin the Mage, who leaves her home island of Entrich for the mainland after her grandfather passes away, looking to make a name for herself. Arriving in the city of Attracta and joining the Adventurers’ Guild, she and her companions get into a variety of misadventures. Farland Saga IIĀ follows Leon and Ralph, orphans who were raised by the knight Brian and have become skilled warriors. They attend a trilateral peace ceremony but get caught up in an incident that shatters the fragile peace and sees them branded as traitors, which results in them fleeing alongside a princess accused of a crime she did not commit. The new versions of the games will include an “Always-On Status Display” for allies as well as rewind, quick save/load, and a double experience points option.
