Lies of P Director’s Message Details Updates, Teases DLC

Neowiz released a new director’s message video for its action RPG Lies of P. In the eight-minute video, Game Director Jiwon Choi commemorated the game’s recent surpassing of over a million sales, before detailing planned free updates for the game. Updates will include some weapon rebalancing, an adjustment to the early game difficulty, new costumes for Alidoro, and more.

The video also came with the announcement that the company is preparing for a release of the game’s soundtrack, which will include over 60 tracks, as well as a reminder of its colloboration with Keoi Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Finally, it featured a teaser of artwork for the game’s upcoming DLC, plus news that the team is working on a sequel.

Inspired by Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio novel, Lies of P is set in a dark world based on the Belle Époque of western Europe (around 1880-1914 CE). The game sees players controlling Pinocchio as he tries to save the city of Krat from an army of puppets. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 19, 2023.
