Valkyrie Elysium Free Update to Add Hilde Mode

Developer Soleil and publisher Square Enix have announced that a free update is planned to release for upcoming action RPG Valkyrie Elysium. The update will include a new mode called “Hilde’s Vengeance”, which is a separate mode featuring Hilde as a playable character. The update will become available in early November for free for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions releasing on September 29, 2022, and will be included in the PC version releasing via Steam on November 11, 2022.

A new title in the Valkyrie series, Valkyrie Elysium follows a young Valkyrie entrusted with the fate of the world. She is tasked by the All-Father, ruler of the gods, with stopping Ragnarok and the destruction of the world. In addition, Square Enix is releasing a port of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, the PlayStation Portable remaster of the first Valkyrie Profile game, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29, 2022.
