Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week, or in this case, two weeks. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

ANNO: Mutationem is an action RPG that successfully blends 2D and 3D with its art style. Though a convoluted plot and some other annoyances hold it back, Alex Fuller finds that it’s a title that shows plenty of potential.

Jason McFadden isn’t over the moon for the overworld, but he loves a good one and, like many gamers, prefer titles with one rather than without. He examines why it’s a staple of RPGs that shouldn’t be overlooked or underappreciated.

Though she knows she should be wary, still she ventures someplace scary… It’s just another night’s work for Silvia Bellini, evil or not. Michael Baker provides his report on her performance.

Major News

After over a year and a half in Early Access, Cellar Door Games is getting ready to fully release Rogue Legacy 2. The full release comes to PC and Xbox consoles in a few weeks.

Tabletop-inspired sci-fi RPG Citizen Sleeper has a release date. Players will take their digitised human consciousness to the space station Erlin’s Eye next month.

Nihon Falcom released Kuro no Kiseki II’s first trailer, as well as some screenshots and details. The second part in the series’ Calvard arc launches in Japan this fall.

Nobody Saves the World is set to launch in under two weeks for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles. It will include a local co-op mode update for all previous versions.

Spike Chunsoft announced a fall release window for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness. The launch window comes with a new trailer and the reveal of a Collector’s Edition.
