XEL Trailer Teases Gameplay

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Tiny Roar released a gameplay trailer for adventure RPG XEL. The 90-second video shows the game’s overhead exploration and combat, locations and dangers, event scenes, and time-bending puzzles.

XEL follows an amnesiac protagonist named Reid who is shipwrecked on a mysterious planet filled with secrets and puzzles, and has an unstable sense of time. The game features combat that uses combos, dodging, and parrying, with Reid able to gain access to a variety of weapons and gadgets. XEL is planned to release this summer for PC and Nintendo Switch, with releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S set to follow later in the year.
