The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Gets Trailer, Screenshots

Nihon Falcom released its first trailer and some screenshots for the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -Crimson Sin-. The screenshots include returning protagonist Van Arkride as well as main characters Agnes Claudel and Elaine Auclair, as a new incident takes place in the Calvard Republic.

Following the events of Kuro no Kiseki, Van is still working as a Spriggan — effectively a mercenary-slash-private detective — while previous client Agnes attends the prestigious Aramis High School. After a Central Intelligence Department squad is found killed in Edith City, A-rank Bracer Elaine puts in a request to Van to aid her investigations into the matter.

Kuro no Kiseki II is the second game in the wider Trails/Kiseki series’ Calvard arc, with more details on how the series arcs link together available in RPGamer’s Where to Start? guide. The game will include the same combat system from the previous game, where players can choose between real-time or turn-based combat, as well its Law, Gray, and Chaos alignment system. Kuro no Kiseki II will release in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in fall 2022.
