Outward: Definitive Edition Launching in May

Prime Matter announced that Outward: Definitive Edition will release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in May 2022. The title is an enhanced version of Nine Dots Studio’s open world RPG Outward, which released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019.

Outward: Definitive Edition will include the base game as well as its two DLC: The Three Brothers and The Soroboreans. It also includes quality-of-life and balance adjustments, as well as new content such as new dungeon encounters, new defeat scenarios, and new diseases. Those who already own Outward and The Three Brothers DLC will be able to get a free copy of the Definitive Edition.

Outward puts players in the role of a vulnerable inhabitant of the fantasy world of Aurai. The game features hardcore survival elements including wounds that can become infected plus the need for sleep and sustenance. It also features two-player cooperative multiplayer both locally and online.
