Outward Update Released on Consoles

The Permadeath, Postgame, and Poutine content pack is now available for the console versions of open-world survival RPG Outward. The update, which was released for PC in October, includes a new hardcore mode that has a chance of deleting the save if players are defeated, new hidden endgame boss fights, an improved legacy chest system, more endgame items, and a number of new supported languages.

Outward was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One earlier this year and puts players in the role of a vulnerable inhabitant of the fantasy world of Aurai. The game includes hardcore survival elements including wounds that can become infected plus the need for sleep and sustenance. It also features two-player cooperative multiplayer both locally and online.
