Welcome to the latest edition of RPGamer’s round-up column, where we look back at some of the articles that we have posted over the previous week. This article is designed to give reminders of some interesting content and stories that our readers might have missed.

Indie RPGs have come a long way, and continue to flourish in unique and exciting ways. In this feature, the RPGamer staff members share some of their favorite gems from the past to the present.
Aspyr has given a new generation of RPGamers an ideal opportunity to experience BioWare’s Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Alex Fuller finds that while the combat very much feels like it was designed twenty years ago, the rest of the game stands strongly in an excellent port.
Welcome to the jungle, and the wetlands, also some deserts, plus mountains, forests, and caves too. Anna Marie Privitere discovers a lot of expeditions awaiting RPGamers, and all of them are appropriately curious.
The Mary Skelter trilogy is complete with the release of Mary Skelter Finale, which comes with a ready way for newcomers to get caught up on events. However, with dense systems and unbalanced pacing, Alex Fuller reports that it’s definitely one for the fans.

As part of its early 20th anniversary stream for the Utawarerumono series, Aquaplus announced a new title. Few details are known about Monochrome Mobius: Toki no Taika at this stage, though it is planned to release in Japan next year.
Compile Heart unveiled its latest title in the Neptunia series. Hyperdimenion Neptunia: Sisters vs. Sisters stars the four younger sisters and will launch in Japan in April.
Square Enix announced that pre-registrations for mobile title Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights have begun in Japan. The announcement comes with new details and media about the game, which does not yet have a release date.
Square Enix provided more details and screenshots for Dragon Quest X Offline. This update focuses on Puku Land, home of the Poppets.
Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is hitting consoles digitally in December. However, those who are happy to wait a bit longer to obtain a physical edition can now pre-order one.
Publisher tinyBuild has acquired Banner Saga and Pillars of Eternity II publisher Versus Evil. The latter will continue operating as a complementary label.
