Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster Releasing in September

Square Enix announced that its Pixel Remaster version of Final Fantasy IV will release on PC, iOS, and Android on September 8, 2021. The game will be available to purchase individually for $17.99, with pre-orders receiving a 20% discount as well as three rearranged music tracks and two limited wallpapers. The game and pre-order bonuses are also included as part of the $74.82 Final Fantasy I-VI Bundle on Steam.

Final Fantasy IV originally released for the Super Nintendo in North America under the title Final Fantasy II and introduced the series’ Active Time Battle system. Versions were later released in the west for PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, and PlayStation Portable. A sequel, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, was released for Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable, PC, iOS, and Android.
