Genshin Impact Version 2.0 Expansion Announced

Developer miHoYo announced its major version 2.0 expansion for Genshin Impact. The expansion is titled The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia and launches for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android on July 21, 2021.

The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia introduces a third major city, Inazuma, to the game. The city is ruled by the Electro Archon and consists of six main islands surrounded by the sea, frequently receiving thunderstorms and strong winds. The expansion will add three new playable characters: Kamisato Ayaka, a five-star Cryo sword user; Yoimiya, a five-star Pyro archer; and Sayu, a four-star ninja. It also adds new bosses including the Pyro Hypostasis and the Perpetual Mechanical Array, as well as new cross-save functionality, haptic feedback support on PlayStation 5, and more.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play action RPG set in the world of Teyvat and originally released in September 2020. Players control a character known as “the Traveler” and must embark on a journey to find their missing sibling. They are joined by NPC companion Paimon, travelling in a party of up to four active members.
