Genshin Impact Coming to Xbox Series X|S in November

At this year’s Gamescom, HoYoverse announced that its free-to-play action RPG Genshin Impact will be coming to Xbox Series X|S. The game will release on the console on November 20, 2024, and is available to wishlist. The announcement came alongside a new trailer highlighting the new nation of Natlan, which players will be able to explore with the game’s Version 5.0 update next week.

Genshin Impact originally released in September 2020 and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. Players control a character in the world of Teyvat known as “the Traveler” and must embark on a journey to find their missing sibling. They are joined by NPC companion Paimon, travelling in a party of up to four active members.

In addition, HoYoverse released new trailers for other titles Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. The new Honkai: Star Rail trailer introduces Feixiao, a new character set to become playable in its upcoming Version 2.5 update, as well as teasing a forthcoming collaboration with the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works anime series. Meanwhile, the Zenless Zone Zero trailer shows new characters from the game’s Version 1.1 update and a new region set to be added in its Version 1.2 update.

Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG that tells its own standalone story in the Honkai universe and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The setting features Aeons, incarnations of universal principles that can freely travel between its worlds and apply their principles to them. Players embark on a journey on the Astral Express along with other passengers looking to explore the universe and find out its secrets.

Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action RPG set in the post-apocalyptic metropolitan city of New Eridu and is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The city is the only place to have survived a supernatural disaster in which gateways to perilous dimensions called Hollows appear and expand. Players control Proxies, those who guide others exploring the Hollows.
