Kickstarter Check-In: Frogsong

RPGamer’s ad hoc Kickstarter Check-In feature returns for a look at an ongoing crowdfunding campaign. This edition features Brandon Braun’s Frogsong.


Frogsong is an upcoming adventure RPG from creator Brandon Braun. The game features hand-drawn 2D animation to bring its world of tiny animal heroes to life. It will revolve around themes of identity, self-love, and what it means to be important.

Chorus the frog is tiny, even among his own kind. Despite his size, he wants nothing more than to protect those around him, even if his diminutive stature causes no one to take him seriously. There are rumors of a terrifying creature known as the Snnikt threatening the land of Salia, so Chorus decides to leave his home and travel to the village of Boreala, where the Defense Guild trains its members to become worthy warriors.

Frogsong’s Kickstarter campaign has a funding goal of about $20,000, and is set to run until July 12, 2021. Those who pledge at least $13 will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their backer rewards. A beta demo of the game is also available for PC via SteamFrogsong is being developed for PC, Mac, and Linux, and is planned to launch in 2022.
