Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Gets New Trailer

Square Enix released the “final” trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the upcoming PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The three-minute video, viewable below, shows some late-game scenes and fights from the main game, plus new elements from the additional Intermission chapter starring Yuffie Kisaragi, including new battles, a new summon, and the new Fort Condor tactical mini-game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will launch for PlayStation 5 on June 10, 2021. Those who own the PlayStation 4 version will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free, but will have to purchase the additional story chapter separately. Players will be able to transfer their save data from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5 following a forthcoming update for the game. In addition, Square Enix announced that registrations for the Android beta test of Final Fantasy VII The First Solider are open. The beta will run from June 1 through 7, 2021, with registrations open until May 27, 2021. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is an online battle royale game set before the events of Final Fantasy VII. It sees players controlling SOLDIER candidates and will launch for iOS and Android in 2021.
