Ys IX: Monstrum Nox Hits PC, Switch in July

NIS America announced PC and Nintendo Switch release dates for Nihon Falcom’s action RPG Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. The game will release for PC worldwide and Nintendo Switch in North America on July 6, 2021, with the European Nintendo Switch release following on July 9, 2021. A physical Pact Edition is available from selected retailers.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox takes place in the “prison city” of Balduq, where Adol finds himself imprisoned. In prison, a mysterious woman named Aprilis turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural Gifts and the power to exorcise monsters. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox originally released for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in February 2021.
