Outriders Stadia Date Confirmed

Square Enix has revealed that Outriders will launch on Google Stadia on April 1, 2021. The release will be simultaneous with the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions.

In addition, the company provided some extra information about the game’s demo, which launches on February 25, 2021. The demo will launch at 9am PST / 12pm EST / 5pm GMT and will be available on all platforms. The demo has a minimum disc size of 22GB on console, 24GB on PC. Cross-play will be available but is in beta and will need to be manually activated. There is no time limit on the demo and it is planned to stay live after the game’s launch. It will feature the game’s prologue and opening chapter as well as all four classes and six character slots. Player characters will be capped at level seven and progress can be transferred to the full game across platform accounts (PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc.).

Outriders is set on the planet Enoch, after Earth has been ruined and humanity has sent out ships to find a new potential home. Players control an eponymous Outrider, an advance operative sent out to identify potential threats as well as to clear the planet for a full colonisation effort.
