Outriders Worldslayer Expansion Unveiled

Square Enix and People Can Fly unveiled Outriders Worldslayer, a new major expansion for action RPG Outriders. Worldslayer will add a brand new story campaign, new zones and enemies, new items, new PAX skill trees, a new long-term Ascencion progression system, and new endgame content.

The new campaign follows the events of the main Outriders campaign as sees the mysterious Anamoly changing to throw out new frost storms and blizzards. Meanwhile, Ereshkigal, the most dangerous Altered known — humans that have been changed by the Anomaly and gained power over elements and forces as a result — starts acting on her plans for humanity’s future on the planet Enoch.

Outriders is a shooter-RPG and features co-op multiplayer for up to three players. Players control an eponymous Outrider, an advance operative sent out to identify potential threats as well as to clear the planet for a full colonisation effort. Outriders Worldslayer will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia on June 30, 2022. New players will be able to elect to start from the original Outriders campaign or use a new Level 30 Boost to jump straight into the Worldslayer content.
