Yakuza: Like a Dragon Release Dates Updated

Sega has announced that it has brought forward the release dates of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of Yakuza: Like a Dragon to align with Xbox Series X release date. The game will now launch on those platforms on November 10, 2020. Sega also revealed that the PlayStation 5 version will release on March 2, 2021. All of those who purchase the game on Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X version for no charge, and all of those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version digitally will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for no charge immediately upon its release.

Sega also revealed the minimum and recommended specs for the PC version:

  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660, 2 GB / AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2 GB
  • Storage: 40 GB available space

  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, 3 GB / AMD Radeon RX 580, 4 GB
  • Storage: 60 GB available space

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the newest title in the series and is known as Yakuza 7 in Japan. The game stars a new protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, who is released after taking the fall and serving a prison sentence for someone else but finds himself abandoned by his former allies in the yakuza. Yakuza: Like a Dragon will include English and Japanese voice over options (with adjusted lip-sync) as well as dual English subtitles for each of the audio options. It will also include French, Italian, German, and Spanish subtitles, all based on the Japanese audio.
