Japanese Monster Rancher 2 Remaster Launching in September

Koei Tecmo has announced that its remaster of 1999’s Monster Rancher 2 will launch in Japan on September 17, 2020. The game will be available for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch. A trailer from a Nintendo Direct mini accompanies the announcement. A remaster of the original Monster Rancher launched last year on the same platforms.

Monster Rancher 2 sees players raising monsters to fight against other monsters. New monsters in the original game were summoned by inserting valid CDs. As the remaster will not have that capability, players will be able to instead search a custom database. The new release will also include bug fixes and the ability for players to transfer monsters from the first game to the second on the same platform, while the Switch version will include local two-player battles.

Interested how it will work , Since you need to put disks in to get monsters.
