Eastward: Octopia DLC Coming This Winter
Pixpil and Chucklefish announced a DLC expansion for adventure RPG Eastward. The Octopia DLC is planned to release for PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch this winter.
Octopia is set in a parallel world to the main game without the dangers of miasma. Introducing farming-sim gameplay, it lets players spend time with protagonists Sam and John repairing neglected farmland. Players will be able to grow crops, tend to livestock, create meals, and more. As their farm grows, so does their nearby town, transforming it into a budding community.
Eastward follows two characters, John and Sam, as they journey through a world that is falling into ruin. Players travel on a cross-country railway, stopping off at towns and villages, visiting campsites and forests, and fighting off monsters with an assortment of weapons. The game originally released for PC, Mac, and Switch in 2021, with an Xbox One version released in 2022.
