Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Available Now, Expansion Pass Detailed

Nintendo, Koei Tecmo, and Team Ninja have officially released Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order for the Nintendo Switch. The release comes off the back of several announcements made for the game at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

The first of these announcements is that Loki is playable for the first time in the series. Following this was the confirmation that there will be free updates for the game following its release. The first of these free updates is set to arrive on August 30, 2019, and will contain two new playable characters: Colossus and Cyclops. Additional outfits will also be added to the game periodically through the first quarter of 2020.

The first DLC pack for the game’s expansion pass was also detailed. Centered around the Marvel Knights, the pack will contain a new story mode and four new characters: Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, and Punisher. The following two packs will be themed around the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. These packs will not be available separately, only as part of the game’s $19.99 Expansion Pass.
