Cyberpunk RPG Dex Hacking Its Way to Switch
Publisher QubicGames has announced that it will be bringing Dreadlocks’ cyberpunk action RPG Dex to Nintendo Switch this month. Players take on the role of blue-haired Dex as she attempts to take on the enigmatic organization that holds the city of Harbour Prime in its clutches. The game features 2D side-scrolling action with Metroidvania-style exploration, full English voice-over, branching storylines that lead to multiple endings, and character customization options to support four different playstyles — assassin, gunfighter, diplomat, or hacker.
Dex first released on PC and Mac in 2015 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. A year later, it was ported to PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Switch version will release on July 24, 2020, priced at $19.99. Pre-orders are now available via the Nintendo eShop, with those who own any other QubicGames title receiving a 25% discount.
