Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited Coming West in 2027

Idea Factory International announced a western release for Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited. The first mainline entry in the series since 2016’s Megadimension Neptunia VII and released for consoles in Japan in August, the game will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 in North America and Europe, plus PC worldwide, in 2027. It will be available with both English and Japanese voice-over options. Physical releases will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 in North America, and on PlayStation 5 in Europe.

Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited sees Neptunia attempt to save the world from Doomsday. After the world’s initial destruction, she encounters a mysterious guiding voice and she discovers numbers etched upon her cheek, before becoming able to activate a “retry”. She and her allies band together to find the source of Doomsday across spacetime. The series’s returning characters are joined by newcomers Rouge (Red Heart), Ciel (Blue Heart), and Anna and Lotte (Eclipse Heart).

Players are able to seamlessly switch from running to flight to explore new expansive environments, and engage in battle from mid-air. The game includes new EXE Drive animations, a rehauled combo system, and giant world bosses. It also allows players to freely customise the Goddesses’ colors and attach accessories, as well as strengthen Processor Unit equipment to boost stats and use the Disc Make to unlock new abilities.
