Atlus has announced a new release date for Vanillaware’s 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. The game will now launch for PlayStation 4 on September 22, 2020, two weeks later than its previously-announced date. Along with the new release date, Atlus revealed that the game’s English voice acting will now be available from launch date, being added in a Day One patch. The game will also come with Japanese voice acting and English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German subtitles.
13 Sentinels: Aegis RimĀ takes place after a catastrophe hits the planet following the arrival of large meteorite-like objects and features time-travel elements. Players control pilots of giant mechs called Sentinels and use them to fight off waves of attacking kaiju in top-down combat. The game will be available physically and digitally; a physical $59.99 launch edition will include a bonus physical art book, while pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will receive a bonus digital art book.
