Cris Tales Looks Into Past, Present, Future in New Gameplay Trailer

Publisher Modus Games has released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming time-manipulation RPG Cris Tales. The nine-minute video, viewable below, shows players’ ability to look into the past, act in the present, and watch events unfold in the future both in puzzle sections and combat. The demo begins with Crisbell’s party entering the city of St. Clarity by entering an open sewer grate via time manipulation, then being chased by the authorities back into the sewers where combat commences.

Cris Tales is billed as a love letter to classic JRPGs. Those looking to read more about it can check out RPGamer’s impression from E3 2019, as well as last month’s demo impression. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia on November 17, 2020, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions to follow at a later date. In addition, demos are available now via Steam and GOG.com.
