Square Enix Shows Some Outriders Locations

Square Enix released a new trailer for People Can Fly’s upcoming co-op shooter RPG Outriders. The three-minute “Frontiers of Enoch” video introduces many of the locations that players will visit on the planet, which humanity aimed to colonise after the ruination of Earth.

Players control an eponymous Outrider, effectively an advance operative sent out to identify potential threats as well as to clear the planet for a full colonisation effort. However, an energy storm ends up killing a number of settlers while changing others and destroying all the technology they brought with them. After being injured and put into cryostasis, players wake up thirty years later to find themselves changed by their contact with the Anomaly and Enoch ravaged by war. Outriders will allow up to three players to join forces in drop-in and drop-out multiplayer and is set to launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in the 2020 holiday period.
