Remnant: From the Ashes Readies Gameplay Before Launch

Perfect World has a new video and info for Gunfire Games’ upcoming action RPG Remnant: From the Ashes. The video covers Harrow, the boss of a dungeon called Rhom. Additionally, new information for the game was detailed.

Set in a world that has been overtaken by an evil force known as the Root, Remnant has players creating a character tasked with helping the surviving groups of humanity. By using a recently reactivated ancient crystal, up to four players will be able to travel to various areas to fight off the Root, discover its cause, and find a solution. Remnant is being built with replayability in mind, so while the content is hand-crafted, most of it will not be seen on any single playthrough. Additionally, each permutation of the game will have a unique setup of loot, maps, bosses, and secrets. Character progress is separate from campaign progress, so players can join with friends or start a new campaign without losing progress.

Remnant is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 20, 2019. Players who pre-order will get advanced access to the game beginning on August 16, 2019.
